RIGHT TO EDUCATION ACT VIS-À-VIS NEW EDUCATION POLICY – PART II

The author in part II of the article compares NEP with the Right to Education Act. Shortcomings of the policy are expressed on the basis of personal observations and some data. Primarily, the policy lacks proper justification for granting economic aid on the basis of cast or providing a rational for introducing classical languages. Additionally, it emphasises upon digital education without considering the nuance gap between the rich and poor in terms of access to technological. The author provides some suggestions and concludes the article on a positive note and hopes for successful implementation of NEP 2020.
